14th century French Pouch .1 – sneak peek progress .7

…gosch, this was really a short and busy week, wasn’t it? Anyway, to celebrate the weekend I have some new progress pictures of my 14th century French Pouch commission for you. 😀

…wooohoooo – I just started adding the 4th color according to the wishes of my customer… Do you see it? Though I remember that some people say that white is no color, I count it as color number 4 in this case. *lol*

Concerning the used wool – I used till now:

malabrigo
“Baby Silkpaca lace” – Made in Perú – 70% baby alpaca, 30% Silk
Yellow: “019 POLLEN”
Green: “004 SHAPHIRE GREEN”
Red: “611 RAVELRY RED”

I couldn’t get a white malabrigo “Baby Silkpaca lace” thread. Furthermore I got to know that the delivery time would be about 1-2 months and therefore I decided to use this wool-silk-cashmere thread instead:

Even though this wool costs about twice as much, it is so similar to the wool-silk thread I already used that I decided to buy it anyway, to be able to continue with my embroidery:

Manos Lace
– Manos del Uruguay
70% baby alpaca, 25% silk, 5% cashmere
White – color 2590

…and now some close up pictures for the Advanced and Premium users among you:
