12th century embroidery – Saint Michael and the Dragon – sneak peek.26 – Endspurt!

12th century embroidery – Saint Michael and the Dragon – sneak peek.23 - first (yellow) border finishedEndspurt! …and again new progress concerning my “12th century embroidery – Saint Michael and the Dragon” embroidery project. 😀

The many hours which I recently worked at this embroidery project seem to finally pay off. After yesterdays posting I continued my work at the blue border. And now, after another 8 very busy hours filled with embroidery, I am very happy to tell that I just finished the blue border.

…and here a new photo of my recent embroidery progress for you – enjoy! 😀

Yes, it might not look like much but this “little bit” of embroidery progress took more than 8 hours. Split Stitch is really not the fastest technique. I tell you, I really want to see the final result of this embroidery project. *lol*

I am quite sure that I will be able to present a picture of the finished embroidery to you tomorrow. …and now “some” last stitches around the edge – it will “just” take some additional hours… 😉

ENDSPURT! 😀

Best regards Racaire
