You maybe remember my first “Craft with Racaire” project #1. The needle roll tutorial with German Brick Stitch embroidery which I recently posted. I was very pleased with my new German Brick Stitch pattern and the finished embroidery for the first needle roll. Furthermore I also tremendously enjoyed working with the beautiful new silk/wool thread I just got from the yarn shop. 14th century French Pouch .1 – sneak peek progress .22 – the silk for the back side :)

I tell you, one of the best feelings I know, is the feeling when I just finished another embroidery. 😀 There is still some finishing work left but that doesn’t really count as embroidery for me. Anyway, I really love and always enjoy this “Endspurt” time. *grins* …and writing about finishing work – today I found the perfect silk for the back side of the pouch. …but take a look yourself at the sneak peek photo of the fabric and the embroidery – this color is lovely, isn’t it… 😀

14th century French Pouch .1 – sneak peek progress .21 – last embroidery added :)

Woooohooooo! The last embroidery added! The new and also last embroidered section of my 14th century French pouch is finished! What shall I say – I love it! Tomorrow I can get the silk fabric for the back side, wash it and then start with the finishing – pinning, sewing, finger braiding, tassels,… …but until then – please enjoy the new progress pic of my recent embroidery progress! 😀 …and some of my personal thoughts concerning this new embroidery section: As you can see on the picture above, I added an extra embroidered blue section above the basic embroidery design. Btw. do you remember the postings about the small embroidered 14th century pouch? …the small pouch I made for my 9th blog-birthday raffle which was inspired by an extant 14th century French pouch… Well, I am very glad to say that the pouch arrived save in the hands of its new owner – Jennifer in Dallas, Texas. …and she likes it! *happydance* I was so excited that I nearly forgot to tell you. 😀 All my projects are more then just projects therefore I tend to call them my “babies”. As I promised, I already took a first look through my photos from Berlin. At the very first day I visited the “Tiergarten Berlin” (the zoo) and the nearby aquarium.
