    2014/03/17

I know that many of you really have enjoyed my pouch-projects and I guess that some of you miss my “old” fast and easy pouch tutorial. Therefore I started a new project for you and also for my “Craft with Racaire” section: My fast and easy pouch tutorial Before I introduce you the more difficult techniques and we start with the embroidered and fancy pouches, I decided to show you a simple way how to make a hand-sewn pouch for yourself, for a gift, your favorite card game,… or whatever you want to store in it. Btw. this is a tutorial for a hand-sewn pouch which you can easily embroider and…

14th century French Pouch .1 – which color for the hood? …an easy way to match colors

    2014/03/15

Well, today I have a very special topic for you concerning my 14th century French pouch: “Which color for the hood?”. Furthermore this is also a very good reason for another posting about very “basic techniques”. In particular I want to show you “an easy way to match colors” today. 🙂 But first things first – as you can imagine, I have many possible colors which I could use for the “hood” in the 2nd section of my 14th century French pouch. Well, it’s great to have so many colors to chose from but that’s also the point where the “grande miseria” begins. Now I have to decide which color out of…

Great news! I am already working at the first tutorial for the second “Craft with Racaire” project – my fast and easy gaming-pouch for my 14th century inspired Backgammon game box or how I started to call it: “the most simple handsewn-pouch I can imagine”. I promise you – just some days and you get to see some new pictures of it including a tutorial how you can make your own. Well, concerning my own gaming-pouch on which my tutorial is based – I am happy to say that I already finished it. positive review  She was amazing to work with, flexible to my needs, answered all of my questions, and has been just incredible. Not only is she talented and interesting but is a genuinely kind person. I got a new bag with my heraldry, for which I have received many compliments, and block stamps for my household. I will commission from her again.

positive review  She’s a very talented artist and sews beautifully! My custom bag was hand stamped with her own cut stamps in beautiful Gold paint, and the design looked perfect on the bag. If you need a bag for a purse or knapsack, and with any design you can think of, purchase it from this wonderful lady! ***** (5 stars)
