Fighting tunic in comfortable L. The sleeves were cut extra long for fighting to accommodate elbow caps and armor and to still generate comfortable length. All main body seams were worked as felled seams for extra durability, the neckline seam was rolled and stitched by hand.
The fabric has a good heavy weight to it and comes from one of the last American cotton mills. The pattern is based on and inspired by 12th and 13th extant finds. Prewashed and ready to wear – completely machine washable.
My husband often also wears his fighting tunics and tabards instead of his normal tunics/undertunics at events because he finds them so comfortable – also definitely a good way to stretch your wardrobe at a very long war event!
Width: ca. 23.5 inch (from one side to the other measured underneath the sleeves)
Height: ca. 33 inch (shoulder to bottom)
Fabric: heavy durable cotton fabric from one of the last US cotton mills
