This 14th century trapezoidal bag was inspired by artwork from the 14th century showing similar bags.
I made this bag from cotton fabric with a beautiful two colored weave. It is completely lined with off white fabric. All seams were reinforced, all used fabrics were pre-washed. The bag is machine washable if needed.
This beautifully simple, functional and timeless design is not only restricted to the 14th century! Similar bags were already depicted in Romanesque artwork from the 11th/12th century. However, some of the best known depictions of trapezoid bags are from the 14th century.
