Description

I printed this lovely soft scarf by hand using stamps which I carved myself. This lioness roundel pattern is based on a 11th century middle eastern ceramic depicting a lioness. I initially cut this lioness stamp for Sir Brealthen de Raimes elevation at Gulf Wars 2019. The decorative filling stamp is based on 12th century goldwork embroidery.

This scarf has a beautifully soft fabric with a good weight. It feels like a snuggly cozy blanket, perfect for cooler or windy days or air-conditioned places. The fabric feels like wool but has no wool content and is machine washable.
