14th century French Pouch .1 – sneak peek progress .4

Racaires cat CleoYes, I know that my helpful little cat Cleo(patra) has her own fans and yes, I know that you miss the photos I posted of her during the last years.

…and I have great news for all the cat fans among you – I put all photos of Cleo on my tablet and during the next weeks and months I will go through this photo albums and find the most cutest pics for you and share them… I promise! 😀

Btw. I think I am still her greatest fan, especially since she decided not to hunt my embroidery threads anymore while I am working at my embroidery and instead decided to warm my lap and sleep – yeah, she is getting old… 😉

…and now a good reason why I shouldn’t be left alone at a yarn shop:

Racaire's Malabrigo wool-silk thread for embroidery and nailbinding...
My Malabrigo “Baby Silkpaca lace” wool-silk thread for embroidery and nailbinding…

…after I found out that this wool is awesome for nailbinding as well as for embroidery and that it is absolutely soft and beautiful,… I just couldn’t resist and got more of it besides the pink and purple I already had. Here some details of this wool thread:

Malabrigo “Baby Silkpaca lace”
– 420 yards / 385 m
– 70% baby alpaca & 30% silk
– Made in Peru

PS: If you would like to try it – Malabrigo has a really nice website and a helpful page called “Locate a Store”

Well, this thread is not cheap but in my defense – this is a wonderful silk-wool thread in awesome colors and with 385 m I also got a lot for my money.
…and I also have another great excuse – I haven’t bought thread for quite a long time now and I needed more colors for the 14th century French pouch commission I am working at as well as the embroidery projects on my list for my largesse and travel fund for Meridies and the gift I want to make for the 9th birthday of my blog… I think I can say that I have plenty silk-wool thread now. *lol*

…but I am sure you’d rather like to see more of the newest progress of my 14th century French pouch commission – therefore here we are:
