Sneak peek at my 12th century agincourt heart embroidery progress for Bella

Sneak peek at my 12th century agincourt heart embroidery progress for Bella - Racaire - medieval embroidery - projects 2014 - hand embroidery*omg* I can’t believe that I nearly missed it! But now I am busy working at my 12th century agincourt heart embroidery for my sister Bella. 🙂

I anyway needed a short embroidery break after yesterday, spending most of my day behind the computer working at my next posting… A one day deadline is not much but I am sure I can make a beautiful 12th century agincourt heart embroidery for my sister. 😀

I was far too busy during the last weeks and days to follow any blogs or interesting groups on facebook like the 12th century group of my sister Bella. When I recently discovered that people were working at 12th century inspired agincourt hearts for Bella’s elevation dress, I was concerned that I completely missed it. And an elevation to the SCA order of the Laurel is really a great thing!

Well, I got to know about it already about 4 days ago. But after all the recent renovation work at the house I had to treat my hands at least a little before I could start working with my thin silk threads again. Yes, silk threads really prefer smooth fingertips otherwise it’s a pain to work with them. I still had to use a small trick to stop the silk from catching on to my skin but more about this in a later posting… *lol*

…and now a short sneak peek at the 12th century agincourt heart embroidery for you – enjoy! 😀

I started this 12th century agincourt heart embroidery yesterday and just have today to finish it. It has to be mailed tomorrow to assure that it arrives in time. However, I am a rather fast embroiderer and quite sure that I can manage that. 🙂

…and then I can get back to my posting about my fitted medieval stockings pattern for my sister Mor… Yeah, I am busy busy busy… but it’s fun and I enjoy it! *lol*

Best regards Racaire
